To place an order for a sculpture to be installed at Parkeston on the first roundabout which visitors reach when driving from Harwich International Port. This artwork will be a replica of the Mayflower Ship and will denote Harwich as an area of outstanding heritage with significant links to the Mayflower story. The foundations for the sculpture have already been installed by Essex County Council and the procurement process and consultation has already been completed.

The Energy Company Obligation allows energy suppliers to provide funding to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Certain improvements can only be made when they are approved with the local authority through the LA Flex scheme.
Energy suppliers or their appointed agents/contractors can only offer these additional works where they have an agreement in place with the Council.
Capture Carbon Ltd have approached the Council about offering energy efficiency improvements in the area. Having undertaken checks and held discussions with the company officers believe it is appropriate enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) around how Capture Carbon will operate.
