The Board aims not to duplicate other groups at District or County level. It is composed of stakeholders and members holding appropriate knowledge and experience and/or qualifications. The intention of the Board is to critically inform and pass on expert knowledge so as to be a positive influence on TDC decision making by Councillors and TDC Officers and local MPs. The scope of the Boards work encompasses Rail Transport, Buses & Coaches, Highways, Ports and other transport.
