Issue details
This decision forms part of the wider Ten_09
Jaywick Sands Public Open Spaces project approved by Cabinet and
the Portfolio Holder and supports the ongoing design and
development of projects across the programme. Intrusive site
investigations are required to provide essential information on
ground conditions, drainage infrastructure and site constraints,
enabling the consultant team to progress detailed design, assess
project deliverability and reduce risk associated with unknown
ground conditions. The investigations will inform future design
decisions, support cost certainty and help mitigate potential
programme delays arising from unforeseen site conditions. The
quotation from JPP Geotechnical and Environmental Ltd represents
best value and will enable the investigations to be undertaken
within the required project programme.
