To note the progress of projects under the Government Levelling Up banner, including the Levelling Up Fund and Capital Regeneration Project grants, and associated decisions to progress the projects, including to agree a drawdown of Levelling Up Fund and Capital Regeneration grant funding to further progress the Clacton Civic Quarter and Dovercourt Town Centre Improvement Corridor schemes.

 

For Cabinet to accept the £200,000 Long Term Plan for Towns capacity payment and delegate the authorisation of the spending of the Long Term Plan for Towns Capacity Payment of up to £250,000 to the Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth, Regeneration & Tourism; as set out in line with the agreement with Government.

 

For Cabinet to endorse the projects outlined in the Levelling Up Partnerships business case, which are subject to final approval by Government, and to agree draw down and spend of the Levelling Up Partnership funding. 

 

For Cabinet to agree a delegation to the Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth, Regeneration & Tourism to draw down the Capital Regeneration Project funding necessary to progress the first stages of the Milton Road scheme.
