Since front reception reopened after Covid 19 this security resource has proved invaluable. The guard is able to ‘queue bust’ when it is particularly busy and their presence acts as a calming influence when people start to get agitated.
Particularly, as we often have young or junior customer service agents on the front counter, it helps to have a male presence in uniform protecting our staff.
Funding for this initiative has been agreed by the Assistant Director, Finance and IT.
