Issue details

Following the launch of Street Tag as part of the Clacton 150 Heritage Trail, the Essex Local Delivery Pilot (ELDP) are keen to scale and replicate an activity project on a smaller scale for Harwich.
Street Tag and Beat the Street both offer outdoor activity based games encouraging participants to get active outside and earn rewards.
In the Back to Business Report 19/2/20 it states that officers will continue to work towards utilising the funds secured from the ELDP project to improve inactivity in our communities.
A letter of concurrence was signed by the portfolio holder Cllr Alex Porter dated18/12/20 to allow requests for quotations to go to the only two providers of these activities. The situation remains the same to date.
An officer decision was published on 19/4/21 to request quotations for a Street Gamification project in Harwich.
