TDC inform stakeholders that the email group “members@tendringdc.gov.uk” is restricted. This is an email address allowing people to contact Councillors simply as a group. Stakeholders are told to obtain the email addresses for the group of TDC Councillors one by one from their website.
This is obstructive behaviour and leads to Members/Councillors being kept in the dark about things that only Portfolio Holders are dealing with. All Members/Councillors should be aware of any risks and financial losses the council incurs as a result of a portfolio holder and/or cabinet decision.
