Since many Councillors, including Cabinet Portfolio Holders, do not respond to or interact with their constituents they are failing in their duties.
Furthermore, residents are encouraged by the council to act directly by using MyTendring which reduces the role of a councillor.
With local elections next year, now is a good time to act on the matter.
