Addressing Social Isolation Among Older People Through Activity =
£7,064.95
Isolation amongst the elderly community in Tendring. Physical
activity brings a host of wellbeing initiatives that not only
boosts physical health, but also holistic wellbeing and social
mobility.
Including:
- Community Voluntary Services Tendring: £4,660
- The Active Wellbeing Society: £2,404.95
Children and Family Healthy After-School Activity =
£19,153
To support local families with a focus on improving pathways into
extracurricular physical activities for early years children, young
people and parents/carers.
Including:
- Colchester United Community Foundation: £9,153
- iCARP: £10,000
Exercise Rehabilitation for Long Term Health Condition Management
=£9,198
The commission aims to support community groups through active
recovery, ensuring a holistic approach to wellbeing and
pre/rehabilitation is commissioned for those looking to boost their
physical strength & mobility.
