Electing a Chairman

The Committee is asked to note any apologies for absence and substitutions received from Members.



It was moved by Councillor Casey, seconded by Councillor Jo Henderson and:- RESOLVED – That Councillor V Guglielmi be elected Chairman for the meeting.

To confirm and sign as a correct record, the minutes of the last meeting of the Committee, held on



The minutes of the meeting of the Premises/Personal Licences Sub-Committee held on 22 April 2020 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.


Adjournment of Meeting

Following the conclusion of the consideration of item A.1 the Sub-Committee will then adjourn until such time as the Chairman deems appropriate.


Linda Trembath (Senior Solicitor) informed the Committee and the participants in the meeting that they were to adjourn for the day due the significant amount of information in the agenda, this would give the Committee Members, the Police and the Licence holder adequate time to prepare. The date was agreed by all parties and set for the 4th of November 2020.


Mr Seeley, the Licence Holders solicitor, asked the Committee if the Councils intentions were to not allow any further representations at this time.


Linda Trembath (Senior Solicitor) confirmed that yes, the Council were not going to allow further representations.
