To consider whether to, in principle, grant a new lease over The Old Lifeboat House, East Terrace, Walton-on-the-Naze.

 

To consider terms for the grant of a new lease over The Old Lifeboat House, East Terrace, Walton-on-the-Naze.

Decision:

(a)    To agree, in principle, the granting of a Lease over The Old Lifeboat House, East Terrace, Walton-on-the-Naze; and

 

(b)    To agree the completion of a new lease over The Old Lifeboat House, East Terrace, Walton-on-the-Naze, on the terms set out in the report and should it be required, to authorise the Corporate Director (Operations and Delivery) to agree any other terms, as he considers appropriate.

Reasons for the decision:

To grant a Lease over a currently vacant building.

Alternative options considered:

To not grant the Lease and leave the building empty.
