Purpose:
To determine Tendring District Council’s future membership of the North Essex Parking Partnership following the expiry of the existing Joint Committee Agreement (2011 to 2022).
Decision:
To renew the Council’s participation in the North Essex Parking Partnership Joint Committee agreement for a period of five years with an option for a further three years, such option to be exercised annually.
Reasons for the decision:
To enable the Council to remain part of the NEPP. The Leader had sought and received assurances from Essex County Council that this Council would not be in any adverse financial position under the terms of the new agreement.
Alternative options considered:
To not renew the Council’s membership of the NEPP.
