That the Portfolio Holder for Corporate Finance & Governance:-

 

(a)    approves, in principle, the granting of a new lease over Holland Library, Frinton Road, Holland-on-Sea; and

 

(b)    authorises the Corporate Director (Operations and Delivery) to finalise the completion of the lease in accordance with the heads of terms set out in the Officer’s report and on such other terms as he considers appropriate, if required.

 

Reasons for the decision:

In order to renew the lease so the library can continue to operate.

Alternative options considered:

To refuse the granting of the new lease and leave the property vacant or find a new tenant.
