Purpose:

To agree the purchase from the freehold owner of Garage 7 Grove Avenue Walton.

To obtain authority to complete the legal transactions to purchase the garage.

Decision:

That the Portfolio Holder for Finance and Corporate Resources, having authorised initial negotiations in February 2018, approves the principle of and terms for purchasing back the freehold of this former Council owned garage number 7 Grove Avenue, with this Authority bearing legal costs, and subject to such other terms considered necessary by the Deputy Chief Executive and in accordance with the Property Dealing Process.

Reasons for the decision:

To consider the request received in accordance with the Council’s Property Dealing Policy, as detailed in the accompanying A and B Reports.

Not to approve disposal/sale.
