Purpose:
To set out for consideration the various
options in respect of the renewal of the portfolio of insurance
policies held by the Council for 2019.
Decision:
To renew the portfolio of policies as set out
in the report - all policies renewed on existing terms apart from
property cover which has been moved to a £50k excess from the
previous £5k excess - based on balancing risk and price and
supported by an action plan to help the Council improve its
historic claims history.
