Purpose:

Following a procurement exercise, to enter into a one year agreement for the provision of a daily cleaning service to the communal areas at Spendells House, Walton on Naze.

Decision:

To enter into an agreement for a period of one year, commencing in November 2024 based upon the quotations received and their subsequent evaluation against the Council's requirements.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - To enter into this agreement, following a procurement exercise
Option 2 - Not to enter into this agreement. However, the provision of a cleaning service is essential for Spendells House to be able to operate as temporary accommodation for up to 31 households.
