To publish the Council's updated Statement of
Community Involvement which includes those recommended amendments
suggested by Members at the Planning Policy and Local Plan
Committee meeting of 28 May 2024.
Reasons for the decision:
To ensure an up to date Statement of Community
Involvement (SCI) is in place - setting out the means by which the
Council will engage stakeholders in planning matters.
Alternative options considered:
Not to publish the updated SCI. This would
however be contrary to planning guidance and would cause confusion
in the planning process.
