As part of the planning consent for the Honeycroft redevelopment, the pavement in front of the site along Waldegrave Way needs to be widened. The Section 72 Agreement means Essex Highways will adopt the widened footpath once the works are complete and take responsibility for the future maintenance of it.

To seal and complete the Section 72 Agreement in respect of the Honeycroft redevelopment, Lawford.

To not sign the Section 72 Agreement, this would mean TDC would retain responsibility for future maintenance and claims in respect of the widened path, with no specific benefit.
