Purpose:

To set fees and charges for waste, environmental and dog matters for 2022/3.

Decision:

To set fees for Dog warden, refuse collection and garden waste for 2022/3 at 2021/2 levels as the report and schedule attached, save for:
provision of refuse sacks - increased in line with contract costs, and, dog kennelling - decreased in line with new contractual arrangements.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Increasing fees - proposed for supply of refuse sacks only
Option 2 - holding fees at 2021/2 levels - proposed for most matters
Option 3 - Decreasing fees - Proposed for dog kennelling.
