To set fee and charge levels for 2022/3 for public realm and bereavement service areas.

Decision:

To increase fees for bereavement services by an average 2% and to hold fees for public realm areas at 2021/2 levels as set out in the report and schedule.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - To significantly increase fees - not proposed - inconsistent with back to business agenda.
Option 2 - Increase fees in line with inflation proposed for bereavement only - to reflect future maintenance costs
Option 3 - Not increasing fees - proposed for public realm service area.
Option 4 - Decreasing fees - not proposed - inconsistent with the overall financial position.
