Decision:

To formally name the new roads under construction at the development site on land off Plough Road, Great Bentley, as follows:-

“Cinderpath Way";
“Margery Mitchell Way”; and
“St Mary’s Green”.

Reasons for the decision:

"Cinderpath Way" - A path across the farm used by locals was known as the cinder path.
"Margery Mitchell Way" - Margery Mitchell was the owner of St Mary’s Farm – her husband has a street named after him in another part of the Village.
"St Mary's Green" - This is in recognition of the fact that the land used to be a farm known as St Mary’s Farm and is to keep the name in line with other new developments in the village (i.e. Admiral’s Green)
