To agree to the Alresford Neighbourhood Plan progressing to the 'referendum stage' of the Neighbourhood Plan making process following an independent examination.

Decision:

That the Alresford Neighbourhood Plan progresses to referendum and that Tendring District Council concurs with the examiner's conclusion that nothing has been suggested which would require an extension of the area beyond that designed on 3 November 2016.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Allow the Neighbourhood Plan to progress to referendum.
Option 2 - Prevent the Neighbourhood Plan from progressing to referendum.
Option 3 - Request further changes to the Neighbourhood Plan.
