To agree an exemption from procurement rules to enable the Council to instruct the current provider to undertake the printing and posting of the Council Tax Bills for 2021/22.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - To carry out separate quotation process. However the reputational risk to the Council from working with a new provider in what could be the last year before the activity is brought was felt to be too great for this relatively low value activity when Royal Mail Postage costs make up a significant amount of the overall contract cost. effective
