(a)    To approve the allocation of a further £1,000 to each ward Member from the Tendring Community Fund to support local communities during the on-going coronavirus pandemic; and

 

(b)    To grant the Council's Section 151 Officer the delegated authority to undertake the necessary steps to implement this decision.

Reasons for the decision:

In order to continue to support local communities through the on-going period of disruption caused by COVID 19.

Alternative options considered:

Not providing the proposed funding which will see reduced capacity / potential loss of important community activities / groups.
