Report to Standards Committee in July authorised the Monitoring Officer in consultation with the Standards Committee and Chairman to submit the Council's response to the LGA's consultation on the draft Model Code of Conduct.

Decision:

To submit Tendring district Council's formal response to the LGA as part of their consultation on the draft Model Code of Conduct.

Option 1 - not to submit a response would be in breach of the intentions of the Standards Committee following their consideration of the consultation exercise.
