To purchase a Bobcat T590 from Bobcat of London.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable windblown sand to be more efficiently and effectively removed from seafront promenades thereby assisting the perambulating public and preventing those members of the public using mobility scooters from getting stuck.

Alternative options considered:

To clear the sand using existing resources which is both ineffective and inefficient, resulting in the promenades becoming blocked more frequently.
