(Part3.38). Appendix A of the Council’s Property Dealing
Procedure (Part 5.61) provides levels of decision making and the
Corporate Director (Corporate Services) is authorised to approve
lease renewals and lease under 5years in length
To agree terms for a new lease of a vacant
Council asset.
Officers have considered not granting the
lease but this would leave TDC with a vacant building and without
the rental income stream. For this reason non-granting is not
recommended and therefore approval is sought for the grant of the
lease on the terms described above. No risk is associated with this
transaction
