Purpose:

The existing contract has expired and it is necessary to appoint a supplier from 1 April 2019. A Government framework has been used to identify the potential suppliers and a direct award is proposed to the existing supplier (Northgate) for a period of 4 years in accordance with the terms of the framework agreement.

Decision:

Award a 4 year contract to Northgate under the terms of the relevant UK Crown Commercial Services Framework agreement at a price of £195,000 per annum. This cost can be met from within existing budgets and includes additional functionality such as cloud hosting to ensure it fits with the Council's digital transformation strategy.
