To proceed with the development of the new homes.

The first phase of this project comprises the provision of piled foundation with a reinforced ring beam. The construction up to first floor level on non-habitable garages in masonry construction off the new foundations to above flood risk level.
Structural engineers have designed the foundation details and competitive tenders have been sought and it is proposed to place the order with the lowest tenderer Gipping Construction.
Enabling works are currently underway with a separate contract and contractor for the construction of a larger electric sub-station to supply future developments.

Option 1 - Traditional built construction rejected on the grounds cost did not offer the economy of scale and speed.
