Purpose:

The policy has been updated to meet the requirements of the Council's Transformation Programme. The revised policy has been approved by Management Team and the changes have been endorsed and supported by UNISON.

Decision:

To update the Remote Working Policy to meet the requirements of the Transformation programme.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Not to update the policy
Option 2 - Update the policy to provide clear guidance to Officers
Option 3 -
The previous policy had been in place since 2012 and required an update to meet current working practices.
