To approve next steps relating to the respective agreements between Tendring District Council and Essex County Council supporting the
delivery of the Local Regeneration Fund projects, in consultation with the Section 151 Officer, the Monitoring Officer and the Corporate Director (Place and Wellbeing):
-To enter a Grant Agreement regarding ECC’s Clacton Civic Quarter Levelling Up Fund project, reinstating the previous funding agreement sealed in February 2024;
-To agree a Deed of Variation to the funding agreement for the Dovercourt Town Centre Improvement Corridor Capital To approve next steps relating to the respective agreements between Tendring District Council and Essex County Council supporting the

On 2nd January 2024, the Heads of Terms for funding agreements were approved between Tendring District Council, as the Accountable Body, and Essex County Council, as the Delivery partner, for Local Regeneration Fund projects.
These projects are as follows:
- Clacton Hub
- Kingsway Public Realm Improvements
- Harwich Library
The funding has now been remodelled by MHCLG as the funder, including new branding, new guidelines and an extension to the funding envelope.
Amendments to the agreements are required in order to ensure the maintenance of up to date and accurate grant agreements. The grant agreement for the Civic Quarter (formerly Levelling Up Fund project) expired on 31 March 2025 and requires reinstatement.

Not approving the amended funding agreements.
If the funding agreements are not amended ECC will not be able to deliver their projects as agreed in the respective Memorandums of Understanding with MHCLG.
