The Welfare Park have requested to release
S106 funds held for use in this area following the building of a
housing development in Parkeston. The contribution will be used
towards the purchase and installation of childrens gym equipment
along with the installation of a fence surrounding the new toddler
play area.
Decision:
To release £5,939.75 Section 106 money
to Welfare Park as a contribution towards the provision of
children's gym equipment at Parkeston, under project number
291.
Alternative options considered:
If the money is not released for improvements
in this area, the only option is to return the contribution to the
developer.
