Purpose:
Under the Electoral Registration and
Administration Act 2013, the Council is required to conduct a
review of all Parliamentary Polling Districts and Polling Places in
the District.
To implement the outcome of the 2024 review of parliamentary
polling districts and polling places 2024. Following consideration
of comments submitted in the review and active steps taken to
provide relevant and accessible electoral arrangements. A report
from the Head of Democratic Services and Elections on the review
has been fully considered.
The report sets out the steps taken in the 2024 review of
Parliamentary Polling Districts and Polling Places and the outcome
of that review, which complies with the relevant statutory
obligations.

To implement the outcome of the review of
parliamentary polling districts and polling places 2024.

These are set out in the report associated
with the decision. Given the duty to undertake the review in a
prescribed time window the alternative of not concluding the review
was not pursued. The alternative arrangements considered in the
review (based on comments received) are set out in the
report.
