To rescind the previously made and published executive decision to submit a Traffic Regulation Order application to the Joint Parking Committee for evaluation and decision to go to formal consultation.

Reasons for the decision:

The original executive decision was called-in for scrutiny by Councillors Sue Honeywood, Paul Honeywood and Chris Amos.

 

Having considered their grounds for the call-in, it was felt to be in the best interests of all concerned that the original decision be annulled.

Alternative options considered:

As set out in Overview & Scrutiny Procedure Rule 17:-

 

(1)    To agree to participate in a Mediation process with the Callers-In; or

 

(2)    To not mediate or to take unilateral action and to aliow this matter to go before the Community Leadership Overview & Scrutiny Committee.
