The Council is undertaking a procurement exercise seeking a contractor to deliver waste services from 2026 onwards. As part of this exercise it has been identified that some external expert support is required to provide advice and assistance in the development of some financial documents.

To appoint Eunomia Research and Consulting Limited to provide the Council with advice and assistance in preparing financial documentation associated with the waste contract procurement exercise.

Option 1 - Not to seek expert advice. This would present a risk around the procurement documentation being inadequate and might hamper the council's efforts to secure best value for money.
Option 2 - To seek expert advice, ensuring the procurement and contract documentation is fit for purpose.
