Purpose:

To allocate up to £66 000 of the health inequalities funding provided by the Clinical Commissioning Group to extend the current Housing and Benefits Early Intervention Officer post. This officer works with the Children and Families multi disciplinary team to support those families most in need of support. The Officer has been in post since March 2023 and it is proposed that the post is extended until March 2025.

Decision:

To allocate up to £66 000 of the health inequalities funding provided by the Clinical Commissioning Group to extend the current Housing and Benefits Early Intervention Officer to work with the Children and Families Team to support those families most in need of support in the existing pilot multi disciplinary team.

The Officer has been in post since March 2023 and will be extended until March 2025.
