To comply with the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure)(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and to publicise proposed amendments to existing car park orders, designating new car parks, updating classes of vehicles and implementation of new charges.

To publish a Notice of Proposals for a revised Tendring District Council Off Street Car Park Orders under Section 35(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), as amended, and Schedule 9 of the Act.

The proposed Order and Schedule are attached as Appendix A.

To designate Orwell Place, Dovercourt as a formal parking place under Section 32 of Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Not to amend. Car Park Orders are required to allow charging and enforcement under the Traffic Management Act 2004. New designation is required for Orwell Place Car Park at Orwell Terrace. The amendments also cover use of Electric Vehicle Charging Bays.
