Essex County Council received funding from the
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and, in
January 2022, paid the Council a grant of £27,510 from this
funding, to assist with the recruitment of Domestic Abuse
Co-ordinator.
Following some initial delay in recruiting to this post, a Domestic
Abuse Co-ordinator is now in post and this agreement sets out the
terms and conditions relating to the grant to ensure that is used
for the purpose for which it is awarded.
To enter into a Grant Agreement with Essex
County Council in respect of funding provided to recruit a Domestic
Abuse Co-ordinator to work alongside housing colleagues to provide
timely access to specialist DA housing advice and
information.
Option 1 - To enter into Grant Agreement
Option 2 - Not to enter into Grant Agreement. However, this
agreement is being entered into in respect of funding already
provided to ensure it is used for the purpose it was awarded.
