Peabody delivers supported housing in Derek
Crosfield House to young people aged 16-25 (single people and
couples) who either have care of a baby or are expecting a child.
Referrals to the service are made by Tendring District Council, in
its capacity as the local housing authority, referrals have to meet
a suitability criteria for access to the housing support service
and that criteria is being homeless and both needing and wanting
support.
To agree terms and enter into a 12 month
agreement with Peabody South East commencing 1st April 2023, to
provide a grant of £43,821 for the further funding of the
support provided at Derek Crosfield House.
The grant will be paid from the Council’s allocation from the
Homelessness Prevention Grant.
