Purpose:

To accept an award of £6,425.25 of external funding to extend the Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) for Tendring to March 2024. This will be used in addition to £20,103.46 of underspend of the previous award to fund the continued development of the LCEP and the extension of the existing part-time Programme Officer role

Decision:

To accept an additional award of £6.425.25 from Royal Opera House Bridge to continue the Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) with the continuation of a part time Programme Officer to further develop the LCEP in Tendring.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - To not accept Funding. The reputational impact and potential implications on further funding from the Royal Opera House Bridge and Arts Council England was considered. Without additional funding the LCEP would not be sustainable in its current format.
