Purpose:

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) have awarded TDC working in partnership with Gt Bentley primary school (as lead school for the project) £65,000 (non recurrent) to support the Wellbeing Hubs in primary schools project.

Decision:

TDC to accept the funding from the ICB, £65,000 to allow the ongoing support and extension of the Wellbeing Hubs in primary schools project, which to date has supported over 1000 children.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Accept the funding from the ICB to provide for ongoing support to the current 21 primary schools, and extend the Wellbeing Hubs to a further 8 primary schools
Option 2 - Do not accept the funding which will not provide the ongoing support to the current Hubs, and support the "Train the Trainer" model and further rollout to the additional 8 primary schools
