Update to HR policy. Part 3.19 (Green)

Decision:

An update to the policy in relation to terminology , updating Domestic Violence to Domestic Abuse, a wider definition. Contact/referral agencies also required updating to ensure correct contact details within the policy.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - The Council requires up to date HR policies that reflect legislation and also best practice Option 2 - This policy is part of the Council's safeguarding remit Option 3 - This policy applies equally, to all in the workplace and has been through full consultation with UNISON and other partners
