Purpose:

To put in place the necessary liquid fuels contract following the expiring of the existing contract at the end of September 2022.

Decision:

To award a 2 year contract (with the option to extend for a further 2 years) to two suppliers - one for kerosene and one for heating oil. The details are set out in the associated report.

Alternative options considered:

A contract has been awarded via the use of a Framework agreement in accordance with the Council's procurement procedure rules set out in its Constitution.
