| Decision :- | RESOLVED that, in response to the comments made by the Corporate Management Committee, the Cabinet can inform that Committee that it was working with the Citizens’ Advice Bureau to put a safety mechanism in place and that it would do all that it could to inform residents of the changes coming into force on 1 April 2013. RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL that (a) the proposed Local Council Tax Support Scheme for the Tendring District, as set out as Appendix ‘B’ to item A.2 of the Report of the Benefits and Revenues Portfolio Holder, be approved; and (b) the Head of Resource Management, in consultation with the Benefits and Revenues Portfolio Holder, be authorised to undertake the necessary steps and actions to implement the new LCTS Scheme from 1 April 2013. |
