Part 3, Schedule 2 – Responsibility for Non-Executive Functions delegated to the Local Plan Committee to exercise the Council’s functions relating to overseeing the preparation of the Local Plan and ensuring it meets the “tests of soundness” from national and planning policy (Part 3.12). Minute 16 of the Local Plan Committee on 2nd November 2017 delegated authority to the Head of Planning Services, in consultation with the Chairman of the Local Plan Committee, to make minor amendments to the Statement of Community Involvement following public consultation, and subject to no significant objections being received, is also authorised to adopt the final document for publication on the Council’s website. Operational matters on the Statement of Community Involvement have been further delegated to the Planning Manager.
