The Council has been awarded £120,451
from DLUHC's Rough Sleeper Initiative fund. The funding was bid for
as part of a collaborative bid on behalf of Essex councils by Essex
County Council.
The funding will be paid over the next three years and TDC will
enter into a memorandum of understanding with ECC in order to
receive the funds.
The funding will be used by TDC to commission a Rough Sleeper
Outreach Support Service. This will be a continuation of a service
currently in place and funded by previous Rough Sleeper Initiative
grant.
TDC has undertaken a tender exercise and received only one bid from
the current supplier - Anglia Care Trust. It is proposed to accept
their bid and award the contract to them based on an annual fee of
£30,128.through to 2024.
