Exclusion of Press and Public

The Sub-Committee Panel is asked to consider the following resolution:

 “That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Agenda Item 4 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A, as amended, of the Act.”

 

Minutes:

It was moved by Councillor Watling, seconded by Councillor Calver and:

 

RESOLVED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Agenda Item 4 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant paragraph(s) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A, as amended, of the Act.

Appointment of Corporate Director (Planning and Regeneration)

To enable the Sub-Committee Panel to notify the Head of People, Performance and Projects of the name of the person to whom the post of Corporate Director (Planning and Regeneration) is to be offered and any other matter relevant to the appointment.

Minutes:

RESOLVED that:

 

(i)         the Head of People, Performance and Projects be notified that the name of the person to whom the post of Corporate Director (Planning and Regeneration) is to be offered is [A Named Individual].

 

(ii)        Council Procedure Rule 20.1 is suspended in order to delegate authority to the Head of Governance and Legal Services to approve the draft minutes as an accurate record of the meeting, after consultation with the Sub-Committee.
