To obtain the approval of the Corporate Director (Operations and Delivery) to introduce a Decant Policy for the Council’s tenants, which will contribute to the efficient and effective management and maintenance of its housing stock and ensure that a consistent and transparent approach is taken.

Whilst the ability to ability to decant is underpinned by the Council’s tenancy agreements and legislation, this policy will ensure that decants are dealt with in a fair, consistent and transparent manner.
