Procedure
To grant a licence to allow the erection of
emergency escape stairs to the sides of Clacton Pier.
Option 1 - Not granting consent. Option 2 -
Granting a permanent Easement Option 3 - Granting a terminable
licence. Finance - A one off licence fee plus legal costs will be
payable. Risk - The licence will be terminable in the event of any
problems. - The Licensee will indemnify the Council against any
claim arising. Legal - S120 of the Local government act and case
law related requires that the Council manages its asses in the
interests of the area. Equality - No likely impact.
