This decision follows on from the decision
made by the Housing Portfolio Holder on 8th January 2018 to provide
grants of up to £5,000 from the Community Housing Fund to
assist in the setting up of community land trusts.
An application from the Jaywick Sands Community Land Trust has been
received that sets out an ambition to engage with housing
provision, land ownership and appropriate development.
To award a grant of £5,000 to the
Jaywick Sands Community Land Trust to enable the group to become
formally established.
This decision has been taken in consultation with the Housing
Portfolio Holder.
None other than not awarding the grant which
in the circumstances would be inappropriate.
